[Ns-developers] 802.11 and 802.11e in current ns-2

Hi folks,

I've been doing a bit of work using the 802.11 model in the current version of
ns-2, and I've found the work by Sven Wiethölter
(http://www.tkn.tu-berlin.de/research/802.11e_ns2/) to be very useful. He's
made some bug fixes for the 802.11 model and built a 802.11e EDCA model based
on recent standards. (I can't use Mathieu's code yet, because I'm working in
a wired-cum-wireless environment.)

Would anyone have a problem with me committing Sven's fixes for 802.11 (I'll
add a flag so that it doesn't break validation tests) and his additions for
802.11e?

Also, I have a hack that allows the use of FullTcp with DSDV routing in
wireless. I don't want to commit it since it is a hack and I couldn't test it
with the other routing protocols, but it seems to work. If you're interested,
I've put the diffs from ns-2.29 at
http://www.cs.clemson.edu/~mweigle/research/ns/fulltcp-wlan.html

Thanks,
Michele
