Summary: Packet uid increments on shallow copies
           Product: ns-3
           Version: pre-release
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Keywords: bug
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P3
         Component: simulation core
        AssignedTo: ns-bugs at isi.edu
        ReportedBy: tomh at tomh.org

the packet uid increments when a Packet constructor is called, leading to
"missing" packets when observing packet flow in the ascii traces. It seems
that this uid incrementing should be tied to deep and not shallow copies.

(reported also by George two weeks ago; can be observed in any of the ascii
trace files)
