NS 2.30 includes a implementation of directed diffusion which is diffusion3. It's built with the network routing API which I'm sure some of you are familiar with. As I know, researchers evaluated parameters like average energy consumption and event delivery ratio etc when designing new protocols. Is there anyone who have done this before in ns context? Some C++ written utilities(~ns/diffusion3/filter_core/iostats.{cc,hh} etc) are capable to collect some statistics, but I think they are designed for real testbed scenario. If anyone have done something about routing of sensor networks, please drop me a line. Thanks in advance!
