Dear Colleague:
As you probably know, the 2003 National Conference on Digital
Government Research is set to convene May 18-21 in Boston,
Massachusetts. The home page URL for the conference is at the bottom of
this email.
As we did last year, we are encouraging Digital Government PIs to bring
along copies of recent books that they may have published, for display
and distribution to interested colleagues at the conference.
We also encourage you to submit any video you have produced that offers
an overview of your DG-funded research project. We're contemplating
holding a screening if there is enough interest.
Please email me directly and let me know whether you plan to bring
books or videos to the conference, and I'll share the information with
the rest of the conference organizing committee. Many thanks for your
help.
Best wishes,
m

Dear Colleagues:
Over the next few weeks, we will be adding some enhancements to the
database toolset at dg.o to improve the site's searchability and
usefulness.
These include Boolean search capabilities, and a new facet that will
allow you and other interested site visitors to find projects and
people by their technologies and government domains.
For the latter of these, we'll ask for just a few seconds of your time
to update your dg.o profile and project profiles in the database.
We have disabled the profile editing tools for just the next few days
while we make the improvements, but we will contact you each
individually early next week with specifics on the new site features.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or
concerns.
Best,
m
