If 'somebody' replies with a non-zero value to your INFO_REQ message, you can be sure that, that 'somebody' is either the seed or is a client who has downloaded some segments. In either case, we know that the seed is already existing in the system. So, you can check to see the maximum value advertised by members in the group update, and use it as the total file size. If nobody replies with a non-zero value for your INFO_REQ, timeout and retry again. Hope it helps.
