Dear APRUNet Representatives,

I hope you all have been planning on attending the APRUNet meeting date 
of Sunday, 30 November 2003 from 15:30 to 17:30 at the APRU "Distance 
Learning and the Internet" conference to be held in Singapore hosted by 
the National University of Singapore.

Please respond to me whether you will be attending or not.

An important agenda item will be to discuss the APEC grant made by APEC 
for the "Distance Learning Partnership Project".

Here is a draft agenda for the APRUNet meeting:

- Introductions
- Agenda review
- Roundtable on current distance learning activities
- Discussion of current distance learning activities

Each representative will be asked to present a short review of distance 
learning activities taking place in their institutions.  Presentatives 
are designed to be informal.  You can speak or use slides.

- Status report on the APRUNet APEC Grant for the Distance Learning 
Partnership Project
- Discussions and suggestions for use of this grant
- Any other business

Comments, suggestions, additions are welcomed.

  All,

Please note that the APRUNet meeting to be held in conjunction with the 
"Distance Learning and the Internet" conference to be hosted at the 
National University of Singapore has been rescheduled

- from Sunday, 30 November 2003 (so that all can easily attend the 
reception and dinner)

- to Tuesday, 02 December 2003 from 16:00-18:00 in Price George's Park 
Room in function room 2
